Custom

Custom home design is a collaborative process and at its core is the communication between client and designer. It begins with the client relaying their needs, wants, and dreams for their home to us. We visit the lot with them to connect those ideas to the specific qualities of the site landscape. Then begins the design process, starting with schematic sketches, moving into design development, and concluding with architectural plans for building construction. And all through these steps having open and clear communication between client and designer ensures those initial ideas are being met at all levels, including budget.

Resort

A resort or vacation home should feel like a home away from home and be designed with the same attention to detail. Our resort/vacation homes are designed to be functional for entertaining and hosting guests with large common great room/dining/kitchen spaces, covered and open outdoor spaces, and multiple options for sleeping family or guests. We pay special attention to the location and setting to make sure all views and special features are considered. The following examples showcase the variety of work in Lodge style, mountain modern, and cottage style vacation and resort homes.

Production Housing

Developing home designs for production housing is one of our most popular project types. Analyzing zoning, market needs, budget needs and what consumers are looking for in their new homes are just some of the aspects of production home design. We work with local homebuilders, regional homebuilders and national homebuilders creating and maintaining their plan portfolios. Our work can be found throughout the Pacific Northwest in all budgets, styles and plan types.

Multi-Family

Creating design solutions for higher density sites is something we are really proud of. Our townhome projects can be seen throughout the Puget Sound region. We have designed over 1000 units over the last 5 years.

Special Projects

What’s a special project? Usually for us it’s a type of project that is unique but also helps to demonstrate our understanding of all types of design projects. Here are just a few of our special projects.
